SRINAGAR, March 3 -- The Food Safety team of the Drug and Food Control Organization Srinagar conducted inspections across various locations today, collecting samples and taking strict action against non-compliant food businesses. Acting on a tip-off, the team raided a chicken shop at Chinar Chowk, Rawalpora, where they discovered approximately 60 kg of stale chicken, 35 kg of internal chicken parts, and 25 kg of sheep fat in extremely poor condition, emitting a foul smell. The contaminated products were immediately destroyed, and the shop was shut down.
