Srinagar, May 27 -- National Conference president and former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday said the security atmosphere in the Kashmir Valley has improved following the recent terror incident in Pahalgam and appealed to tourists to visit Kashmir without hesitation.
Speaking to reporters during his visit to the Pahalgam Golf Course, Farooq Abdullah said the recent attack had shaken confidence, but normalcy was being restored. "What happened here was unfortunate and should never have occurred. Tourists were arriving in large numbers, and rooms were fully booked. People were engaged in work without depending on government jobs," he said.
