Srinagar, April 15 -- Srinagar Police on Monday appealed to women to report any form of harassment, bullying, eve-teasing, or unsolicited comments.

The police also publicized dedicated helpline numbers to encourage swift and accessible grievance redressal.

As per the details, a public awareness post shared by the Srinagar Police said they remain committed to protecting women and girls in the city.

"Respected Women: If you face harassment, unsolicited comments, bullying, or feel unsafe in public spaces in Srinagar, don't hesitate to reach out. Srinagar Police is here to help," the details accessed by KNO revealed, adding the message read, ending with the line: "Stay safe, speak up."
