Srinagar, May 26 -- Riyadh, May 27, 2025 - Eid ul-Adha 2025, one of the most important festivals in Islam, is expected to be celebrated in Saudi Arabia on Friday, June 6, depending on the sighting of the Dhu al-Hijjah crescent moon on Tuesday, May 27.
Known as the "Feast of Sacrifice," Eid ul-Adha commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's devotion and willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah. The celebration follows the completion of Hajj and falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic lunar calendar.
