New Delhi, April 12 -- A strong dust storm disrupted air traffic at Delhi Airport on Friday evening, leading to widespread delays and diversions. Over 50 flights were delayed by nearly 50 minutes, and 25 were diverted, causing chaos and inconvenience for hundreds of passengers.
Airport officials said the sudden storm and gusty winds disrupted schedules and triggered a heavy rush at the terminal. "Flights were either cancelled or delayed, resulting in overcrowding and frustration."
Airlines such as IndiGo and Air India issued weather advisories, while the Delhi Airport Authority asked passengers to check flight statuses with their respective carriers.
