Srinagar, April 11 -- The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a period of dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir from April 12 to 17, with generally stable conditions expected throughout the region.

For today, April 11, the weather will remain generally cloudy with brief spells of light rain or snow at several places. There is also a chance of thunderstorms and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph in some areas.

Looking ahead, the MeT has forecast a fresh spell of light to moderate rain and snow from April 18 to 20, beginning the evening of April 18, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds.
