SRINAGAR, May 17 -- In its relentless crackdown against illicit drug trafficking network, Srinagar Police have arrested a drug peddler from Bemina area and recovered contraband substances from his possession.

A Police team of Police Station Bemina during patrolling, intercepted a scooty rider at Hamza Colony near Medage Building. He has been identified as Mohd Rafiq Kaloo son of Ab. Khaliq Kaloo resident of Sumbal Bandipora A/P Mansoor Colony Bemina. During the search, substantial quantity of Brown Sugar and charas-like substances were recovered from his possession. He has been arrested and the scooty bearing registration number JK15B-0703 has also been seized.
