BARAMULLA, July 14 -- Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, Police in Baramulla have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

A police party of Police Station Kunzer at a checkpoint established at Chachloora, arrested a drug peddler identified as Mohd Yousuf Ganie son of Ab Rahim Ganie resident of Sodipora Beerwah. During the search, 131 grams of Charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 61/2025 under NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kunzer and investigation has been initiated.
