Srinagar, May 15 -- US President Donald Trump said he told Apple CEO Tim Cook not to build manufacturing facilities in India unless they are specifically meant to serve the Indian market. Speaking at a business event in Doha, Qatar on May 15, Trump emphasized that he wants Apple to prioritize production in the United States.

"I told Tim Cook, we're not interested in you building in India-they can take care of themselves," Trump said, according to Bloomberg. He added that following their conversation, Apple agreed to increase its production in the US.
