BANDIPORA, May 17 -- To promote awareness and unity against drug abuse, District Kickboxing Championship-2025 was inaugurated today by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmed Qadri, in the presence of Padma Shri awardee Faisal Ali Dar, Brand Ambassador of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

The championship, held at Islamia Model School, Garoora, Bandipora, brought together hundreds of athletes from all age categories, including boys and girls.

DC appreciated the organizers and participants for their efforts in promoting sports and combating drug abuse. He shared his experience with the gathering, highlighting the benefits of sports in building a healthy and strong society, and the need to stay away from drugs.
