PULWAMA, April 10 -- A mega function was held today at Mahjoor Memorial Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Pulwama to pay tribute to the legendary poet of Kashmir, Peerzada Ghulam Ahmad Mehjoor-widely revered as 'Shaair-e-Kashmir'.

The event was organised on the occasion of Mahjoor Day to honour his timeless legacy, celebrate his profound contribution to Kashmiri language and literature and reflect upon the social, cultural and philosophical messages embedded in his poetry.

The programme was organised by Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Pulwama in joint collaboration with the JK Mahjoor Foundation and District Cultural Society Pulwama along with special invitation to A. R. Azaad Memorial Foundation.
