Florida, April 22 -- A Delta Air Lines flight sparked panic on Monday after one of its engines caught fire while preparing for takeoff at Orlando International Airport. The aircraft, which was bound for Atlanta, was forced to abort its departure and evacuate 282 passengers using emergency slides.

According to CNN, the fire erupted in the tailpipe of the plane's right engine shortly after the aircraft began taxiing toward the runway. Dramatic footage, captured by a passenger inside the terminal, showed flames shooting out from the engine.
