Srinagar, May 19 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, conducted an on-site assessment of damage caused by strong gusty winds that hit the district during the intervening night of May 18 and 19.

Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Srinagar, the DC visited several affected areas including Soura, Noorbagh, Karan Nagar, Safa Kadal, Bemina, and adjoining localities to take stock of the situation.
