SHOPIAN, May 27 -- In view of the upcoming Eid-Ul-Adha festival, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta today convened a meeting of officers and stakeholders at Mini-Secretariat here to take stock of the arrangements put in place for celebration of Eid festival across the district.

DC said that a special mechanism will be formulated for smooth celebration of the forthcoming festival of Eid, and exhorted upon the concerned officers to work in close coordination for ensuring hassle free Eid in the district.
