Jammu, April 14 -- Minister for Agriculture Production Department, Rural Development Department & PR, Cooperative and Election Department, Javed Ahmad Dar, today paid floral tributes to Dr. B R Ambedkar, describing him as one of India's greatest social reformers and the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, during an event held at Bari Brahmana, Samba.

The function was organized by Dr. B R Ambedkar educational society which was attended by a huge gathering from Samba and adjoining areas.Whileaddressing on theoccasion, the Minister said that Ambedkar jayanti is being celebrated as "equality day, highlighting the crucial role of Baba Saheb in fighting for the rights of Women, labour and oppressed communities of India.
