Srinagar, April 29 -- A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle met with an accident in the Tangnar area of Doodhpathri, located in the Khansahib tehsil of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Tuesday, officials confirmed.
Sources told JKNS that the vehicle, whose registration number remains unidentified, skidded off a mountain road and plunged into a deep gorge.
"Some CRPF personnel have reportedly sustained injuries in the mishap," an official said, noting that a rescue operation was swiftly launched following the incident.
Authorities added that the exact number of injured and their medical condition were not immediately known.
