JAMMU, April 18 -- A high-level Congress delegation, led by national general secretary Syed Naseer Hussain, met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Jammu on Friday to deliberate on the prevailing political landscape in the Union Territory.
Accompanied by AICC general secretary G.A. Mir and J&K Congress president Tariq Hameed Karra, the Rajya Sabha MP called on the chief minister at his residence, party leaders said.
The meeting was described as productive, with discussions revolving around the INDIA alliance and the broader political situation in Jammu and Kashmir. The Congress continues to be a coalition partner in the Omar Abdullah-led government.
