SRINAGAR, June 20 -- Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat today reiterated the Centre's commitment to transform Jammu and Kashmir into a global tourism destination.

Shekhawat held a meeting with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday evening to discuss strategic measures for strengthening the tourism sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
