SRINAGAR, May 31 -- With Srinagar's air quality high on the agenda, Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed (IAS) chaired a comprehensive review meeting today at the SMC headquarters Karanagar to take stock of the city's progress under the National Clean Air Program (NCAP). Senior officials from SMC and allied departments participated in the meeting.
The meeting focused on finalizing the slate of projects planned for the 2025-2026 financial year under NCAP. While acknowledging the meaningful progress made so far, Dr. Owais pointed out the areas that still need attention to ensure tangible improvements in air quality.
