Srinagar, Jan. 20 -- Ahead of the upcoming budget, the Chief Minister on Tuesday chaired a series of pre-budget consultations with heads of various departments to assess developmental priorities, public needs and fiscal planning for Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

During the deliberations, the Chief Minister underscored the importance of aligning departmental proposals with the administration's broader vision of inclusive growth, transparency and efficient public service delivery.

The meetings aimed to ensure that budget allocations directly reflect ground realities and citizen aspirations.
