Tangdhar, May 13 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday visited the border area of Tangdhar in Kupwara district to assess the damage caused by recent cross-border shelling and to express solidarity with affected families. The visit is part of his ongoing outreach to residents in forward areas impacted by hostilities along the Line of Control.

Accompanied by Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani, MLAs Mir Saifullah, Qaiser Jamshed Lone, and Javaid Mirchal, along with DC Kupwara Ayushi Sudan and SSP Ghulam Jeelani Wani, the Chief Minister toured multiple villages including Hajinard, Nachiyan, Shamspora, Baghbela, Batpora, and Tarboni.
