Srinagar, April 29 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess summer preparedness across Jammu division, directing departments to adopt a proactive approach in ensuring uninterrupted essential services and swift responses to heatwave-related challenges.

Stressing the need for robust inter-departmental coordination, Omar said, "Minimizing public inconvenience during summer months is a top priority. All departments must function in sync to ensure smooth delivery of services."
