Srinagar, March 14 -- Counter Intelligence wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police has rescued 13 trafficked youths from a cyber-fraud hub in Myanmar.
"Online scams in the name of providing jobs take place every day," SSP Counter Intelligence Kashmir Tahir Ashraf said on Thursday.
"In this case, we were dealing with a big racket. The educated young kids of Kashmir search for jobs on social media, especially on Facebook, and they click on links and find job vacancies for data entry operators. The job is available in foreign countries, especially in Thailand," the SSP said.
