JAMMU, June 2 -- In preparation for the upcoming SANJY 2025, the Chief Executive Officer of the Sonamarg Development Authority, Bilal Mukhtar, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Solid Waste Management (SWM) plant in Sonamarg. He was accompanied by officials from the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department and the Mechanical Engineering Department to assess the plant's operational readiness.

The visit aimed to evaluate the plant's capacity to handle the anticipated increase in waste generation during the Yatra season. A reliable and efficient waste management system is critical for maintaining cleanliness, public hygiene, and the ecological balance of the region.
