Srinagar, Feb. 1 -- BJP senior leader and National General Secretary Tarun Chugh strongly criticized Congress leader Sonia Gandhi for her reported remark referring to President Droupadi Murmu as a "poor lady," calling it a display of Congress's dynastic arrogance and disregard for national institutions.

Chugh condemned the remark, stating, "Sonia Gandhi's shameful comment exposes the Congress party's deep-rooted disdain for India's institutions. It is not just an insult to the President's office but to the entire nation.

Accusing the Gandhi family of entitlement, he added, "The Gandhis-Sonia, Rahul, and Priyanka-have always viewed India through an Italian lens. Their contempt for a tribal woman as President reeks of a colonial mindset. ...
