India, Jan. 12 -- District Baramulla has emerged as a source of pride for Jammu and Kashmir as its women cyclists delivered commendable performances at the Khelo India Asmita Women's League, held at Kurukshetra, Haryana, from January 10 to 11, 2026.
The event marked a historic milestone with the maiden participation of the Jammu and Kashmir Women's Cycling Team in the prestigious league. Notably, all participating riders were from District Baramulla, highlighting the district's growing contribution to women's sports at the national level.
