Srinagar, July 1 -- In view of the sacred month of Muharram, Srinagar Traffic Police have issued advisories to regulate vehicular movement and ensure smooth conduct of religious processions.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic City Srinagar), Aijaz Ahmad Bhat said, "Traffic advisories have been put in place in connection with the ongoing Muharram processions. Currently, processions are being held in Saida Kadal-Rainawari and Zadibal sectors. Traffic is not being allowed in these areas, and diversions have been provided accordingly for smooth Muharram processions."
