Srinagar, June 6 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the inauguration of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, calling it a transformative step that will act as a new artery of growth and make the region's development "unstoppable."
He also praised the launch of two Vande Bharat trains, saying they will significantly boost religious tourism to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, while health and road infrastructure projects worth Rs.24,000 crore will raise the standard of living across the Union Territory.
