Jammu, May 30 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Jammu on Thursday evening for a crucial two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources told a local news that Shah, who arrived in Jammu this evening, is likely to chair a high-level security meeting at Raj Bhawan to review the security preparedness for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, which is set to begin on July 3 and conclude on August 9.

The meeting will be attended by the J&K Lieutenant Governor, top officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and heads of security agencies, including the CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and J&K Police.
