AWANTIPORA/ KULGAM, May 22 -- Police have arrested 05 drug peddlers in Awantipora & Kulgam and recovered contraband substances from their possession.

A police team from Police Post Toll Plaza headed by Incharge Police Post Toll Plaza under the supervision of SDPO Awantipora at a checkpoint established at Kaigam Crossing, intercepted two suspicious individuals. Upon search, 315 grams of Charas like substance (in shape of Sticks) was recovered from their possession and were subsequently arrested. They have been identified as Mayser Ahmad Sheikh son of Gh.
