SRINAGAR, June 2 -- Police in its relentless efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested three drug peddlers in Kupwara, Sopore & Kulgam and recovered contraband substances from their possession.

A Police team of Police Post Drugmulla at a checkpoint established at Drugmulla Market intercepted a suspicious person identified as Shahrukh Shafi Mir son of Mohammad Shafi Mir resident of Kupwara. During the search, a substantial quantity of Charas like substance was recovered from his possession. Subsequently, he was arrested.
