PULWAMA, May 21 -- Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police have arrested three drug peddlers in Pulwama and recovered contraband substance from their possession. Besides, Police have also arrested two drug consumers in Awantipora.

In Pulwama, a police party from Police Station Rajpora, during naka checking at Achgoza, intercepted an Alto vehicle bearing registration number JK05H/0877 with two persons on board. During search of the vehicle, approximately 5.7 Kgs of Poppy Straw and cash amount of Rs.14,200/- was recovered.
