New Delhi, May 22 -- A multi-party delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha embarked on a crucial diplomatic mission to Japan on Wednesday, aiming to highlight India's concerns over cross-border terrorism sponsored by Pakistan and recent developments around Operation Sindoor.

The delegation includes a wide political spectrum: BJP MPs Aparajita Sarangi, Brijlal, Pradhan Barua and Hemang Joshi; Congress leader and former external affairs minister Salman Khurshid; TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee; CPI(M)'s John Brittas; and former ambassador Mohan Kumar.
