SRINAGAR, Aug. 2 -- The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has expressed deep concern and strong condemnation following the recent seizure of 1,200 kilograms of rotten meat from a cold storage facility in Zakura Industrial Estate, Srinagar. The decayed consignment, reportedly meant for distribution across hotels and restaurants in the Valley, has triggered widespread alarm among consumers and businesses.
"This is not just a food safety lapse - it's a public health emergency," said Faiz Ahmad Bakshi, Secretary General of KCCI.
