Srinagar, Feb. 14 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) Friday urged the government to improve cricket infrastructure in the Union Territory while praising the team's "successful" Ranji Trophy season.
JKCA member Manzoor Wazir and Former Ranji player Parvaiz Ahmad in a press conference said that the Ranji Trophy season has been successful, though the team narrowly missed semifinals berth. "Our team's performance has been consistent, and the perception that J&K's victories are surprises is changing," they said.
Parvaiz said that while the team has improved over the years, further enhancements in training facilities and playing conditions are necessary.
