Srinagar, June 18 -- Prominent travel operators have intensified efforts to revive tourism in Kashmir post-Pahalgam attack.

"Kashmir is safe and offers asecure holiday experiencefor tourists," said a delegation of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), which is currently on its visit to the valley to promote tourism.

IATO, in cooperation with Indigo and prominent hotel chains including ITC and Radisson, was on a four-day visit to the Valley to assess the situation here for tourists.

Appealing to tourists tovisit Kashmir, the tourism association said that Pahalgam, Srinagar, and the surrounding areas were completely safe for tourists.
