Srinagar, April 27 -- BJP president J.P. Nadda on Saturday vowed that India would deliver a "befitting" response to those behind the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives earlier this week.

Speaking to reporters after offering prayers at the Shrimant Dagadusheth Ganapati temple, Nadda said the entire nation stands united in anger and looks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a strong, decisive response.

"I came here to seek blessings from Ganpati Bappa. The cowardly attack in Jammu and Kashmir has outraged the entire country. People are confident that Prime Minister Modi will give a firm and powerful answer," he said.
