Nigeria, Feb. 5 -- The family members of a traditional ruler in Taraba State have been recovered dead days after being kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The sad development was confirmed by the Chief of Mutumbiyu Justices Chiefdom in Taraba State, JusticeSani Muhammed(rtd), on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

The Informant247 recalls that the spokesperson of the state police command, Usman Abdullahi two weeks announced the kidnap of 8 family members of the traditional monarch.

It was gathered that the gunmen who were suspected to be abductors stormed the palace of the king around 1am and whisked away the 2 wives and 6 children of the monarch.
