New Delhi, April 17 -- The TSG Hotels & Resorts in Andaman & Nicobar Islands carried out a beach cleaning exercise at Marina Park Seashore and collected close to 140 kg of plastic and other waste materials strewn across the beach.

The entire activity was carried out by the staff of TSG Emerald View Hotel & TSG Grand Hotel.The staff members collected plastic bottles, wrappers etc for more than one hours to make the beach look beautiful and plastic free. Beyond cleaning up the shores, the hotel staff actively engaged with the local community and emphasized the critical importance of beach cleaning to save the ocean and marine creatures.
