Dhaka, May 6 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday welcomed Mr Paul Thoppil, Canada's Indo-Pacific Trade Representative, at the state guest house Jamuna, where both sides explored ways to deepen bilateral economic cooperation and expand investment opportunities.

Mr Thoppil, on his second official visit to Bangladesh, is leading a high-level business delegation comprising senior executives from some of Canada's most prominent companies, including Bell Helicopter, BlackBerry, Gildan Activewear, JCM Power, and Advantech Wireless Communications, according to a spokesperson from the Chief Adviser's Office.
