Dhaka, July 7 -- The future of Bangladesh's agriculture lies in the hands of its youth-equipped with innovation, vision, and a commitment to sustainability, speakers said on Sunday at an inaugural programme.

With a call for transformation in agriculture through youth leadership, innovation, and climate resilience, the four-day Young Farmers Camp and Agrilympic (YFCA) Bangladesh 2025 kicked off at Gazipur Agricultural University on the day.

Organised by COAST Foundation with support from the Asian Farmers' Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA) and funded by IFAD and the EU, the event brought together over 150 young farmers and agri-entrepreneurs from more than 25 districts, said a release.
