Bangladesh, Jan. 6 -- The National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH) imported an X-Ray machine from Germany in 1998 but it has never reached the radiology department. According to a media report, something might have gone wrong in the procurement process since the machine was never operated. This is one of the examples of how patients especially the poor who visit public hospitals are deprived of proper medicare facilities.
