Dhaka, Nov. 5 -- A construction worker was killed after falling from the third floor of an under-construction building in the Borotech area of the city's Badda area on Wednesday.

The deceased, identified as Al Amin, 26, was a mason, reports BSS.

According to the victim's elder brother, Nazrul Islam, the family hails from Hizla upazila of Barishal district.

In-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police camp Inspector Mohammad Faruk confirmed the incident.

Al Amin was rescued in critical condition by his co-workers and taken to the DMCH Emergency Department where doctors declared him dead at around 6:30 pm.
