Dhaka, April 24 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday forecasted that the weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country for the next 24 hours.
"Rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and gusty wind are likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions during the period", it said.
Mild and moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and the districts of Manikganj, Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Dinajpur and Nilphamari and it may continue, reports BSS.
