Dhaka, May 8 -- Vitol Asia Pte Ltd. continues dominating the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market in Bangladesh, with securing two more cargo supply bids on Wednesday.
The Advisers Council Committee on Government Purchase (ACCGP) on the day approved two separate proposals by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, allowing Petrobangla to buy two cargoes of LNG from the Singapore-based company.
One of the cargoes will cost the exchequer Tk 5.49 billion and another Tk 5.55 billion.
Earlier on April 29, the company had secured the bid to supply one cargo of LNG at a cost of Tk 5.44 billion, following two other cargoes awarded on April 22 and April 8 respectively.
