Dhaka, June 19 -- US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau has praised the leadership of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at a critical juncture for Bangladesh and reaffirmed continued US support for the country.
The appreciation came as National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman met the Deputy Secretary of State on Wednesday at the State Department in Washington, DC, reports UNB.
They discussed the Rohingya crisis, ongoing tariff negotiations between Bangladesh and the US, developments in South Asia, and Bangladesh's democratic transition, according to the Chief Adviser's press wing.
