Dhaka, May 19 -- United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) on 18 May 2025.

Under this agreement, the abandoned playground adjacent to the Karnaphuli Shishu Park in Agrabad will be transformed into a modern, child-friendly recreational centre equipped with advanced facilities, according to a media release.

The MoU was signed in a cordial ceremony held at UCB's head office.

Sheikh Muhammad Tauhidul Islam, Chief Executive Officer of Chattogram City Corporation and Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Managing Director and CEO of UCB, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
