Dhaka, March 16 -- The 23rd meeting of the newly-formed Board of Directors of Union Bank PLC was held at the bank's head office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka on Sunday.

Chairman of Board of the Directors of the bank Mr. Md. Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr. Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr. Mohammad Saiful Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mr. Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting.
