Dhaka, May 4 -- Mr Sheikh Farid (JDS Scholar), Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division (FID), Ministry of Finance, and Mr Md Matiur Rahman, FCA, FCMA, Professional Accountant, have officially joined the Board of Directors of state-owned BASIC Bank Limited.

They participated in the 678th meeting of the board, held on April 30, 2025, according to a press release.
