Dhaka, March 25 -- Justice A K M Asaduzzaman and Justice Farah Mahbub were sworn in as judges of the Appellate Division on Tuesday.
The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed at the Supreme Court Judges' Lounge at 10:30 am.
Earlier on Monday, President Md Shahabuddin appointed them under Article 95(1) of the constitution.
Later, the Law Ministry issued a gazette notification confirming the appointments.
Notably, Justice Farah Mahbub has become the fifth female judge in the history of the Appellate Division.
